Third Wave Powers

Mur Lafferty's novel Playing for Keeps tells the story of a group of characters with somewhat useless superpowers. These characters, known as the "Third Wave", have abilities like elevator control, the inability to drop a bartray, and discovering information about people by smelling them. Coexisting in two timestreams

Be a Fictional Character

Give Someone Immortality

Caveat:

• Immortality is defined as eternal life until the end of humanity-- when all of humanity dies, your dude dies too.

New Years Resolutions

You have the ability to create a New Years Resolution that will actually stick. You are compelled to do whatever you resolved to do. Which resolution do you use?

Caveat:

• Though you are supernaturally compelled to keep this resolution, it won't magically make it happen-- so if you say you'll lose weight, you'll be compelled to eat more veggies and exercise more. The weight won't just go away.
